EXPRESS GRANT OPPORTUNITY!
The National Endowment for the Humanities is offering grants of up to $300k each for small nonprofit cultural institutions, here. Intended to fund public programming, staff hiring and retention, and other key activities for museums, libraries, and other public educational institutions, these funds may make the difference between continuing operations and programming or facing a precarious future.
From the press release, dated 20 April 2020:
“NEH is working quickly to distribute emergency funds to strengthen the nation’s museums, archives, libraries, historic sites, universities, and other educational institutions, and to support the communities and economies that rely on them.”
Deadline is Monday, 11 May 2020.
